Last year, I spent most of my time traveling and teaching hooping classes. I got to see the world through the luckiest eyes I’ve ever worn - of the new artist, living by her craft amidst a swell of inspiration and expanding movement throughout the US, Mexico and much of Europe. There’s a growing culture of hoop dance that’s literally bursting at the seams and the communities of hoopers I saw and the friends I’ve met are some of the most genuine and inviting and encouraging people I now get to know.

I can’t wait to see where it goes, and I won’t wait to see what’s already happening.

2012… I sort of want to see the south:

I left for the Midwest with a set class in mind on the last tour. Yet by the time Columbus, Chicago, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Minneapolis and then Des Moines had taken place, I’d learned as much from them as they had from me. It’s as though we all developed the workshop together and I was fortunate enough to watch it happen...

So I'll be there. And I hope you will too.
